Sea Cloud visits her home port

Sea Cloud, the world’s oldest ocean going passenger ship, visited her home port, Malta, this weekend.  The Legendary Windjammer was registered by Flagport under the Malta flag after following the Malta Registration procedures.

The 88 year old sailing cruise ship, has an authentic nostalgic charm and is a vessel that is a truly glamorous experience with an ever-surprising timelessness.  Constructed in 1931, and renovated in 2011 has a range of 10,000 nautical miles (at 8 kn) thanks to 30 imposing sails and 2 diesel engines producing 1,000hp.  It can accommodate up to 64 passengers max alongside approximately 60 crew members.

All the operations for this call at the Maltese and Gozitan islands were handled by O.F. Gollcher & Sons Ltd, through its Shipping Agency arm.
